Interactive Chef’s Dinner Series Premiere

Autumn Wine Dinner on November 20 Premieres Series of Intimate Events Highlighting Interaction with Chef Lee Anderson

On Thursday, November 20, 2014 Chef Lee Anderson will kick off the Sugar Beach Events “Interactive Chef’s Dinner Series” with an Autumn Wine Dinner. An intimate group will be treated to a champagne sunset reception and an eight-course tasting menu paired with fine wines by Johnson Brothers. In line with the theme of interaction, Chef Lee will discuss food and wine pairings and also invite guests to make their own specialty salts to take home. The cost is $150 a person (inclusive) including champagne and wine pairings.

Wine Dinner posterSugar Beach Events looks forward to welcoming the community to one of their first on site public events, where Chef Lee will be able to step out of the kitchen and into a more personal role with the locals in our community. Each event in the “Interactive Chef’s Dinner Series” will have a different theme. Guests will also take part in every event in the series, taking home a memento from the night’s event. The Autumn Wine Dinner features the heartier foods of the Fall- comfort foods that highlight fresh, local produce of our bountiful island of Maui. Enjoy a beautiful Sugar Beach sunset, oceanfront dining, and dynamic food and wine pairings.

“This first dinner I am introducing my new caprese carving station and gourmet salt bar. At the end of the meal, I’ll send each guest with a selection of salt for them to use at home,” says Chef Lee. “You don’t realize the distinctive taste difference each salt has until you taste it side by side. This will give you a chance to try them next to each other and decide your favorite…combining and being creative as you see fit!”
