What do you have when you combine class and tropical beauty? It’s what we call Tropical Elegance, and that’s exactly what was envisioned and created for Alia and Lath’s destination wedding at our beachfront venue in Maui.
After traveling to Portland for a vacation, Lath proposed to Alia in a beautiful location – Portland’s Japanese Garden. As you can tell, Lath is the romantic type choosing to propose while visiting a place they had never been to before. It is only fitting that our couple chose to have their wedding in Maui to celebrate their love and marriage with friends and family from Maui and afar, being from Atlanta, Georgia.
Bride Alia coordinated the many details of the day, enlisting the expertise of wedding planner Kristen Sterback of Sugar Beach Events. For the decor, they selected a tropical theme with a pop of color by choosing hunter green and peach as their color palette. “Everything turned out perfect! Kristen and the SBE team did a phenomenal job setting up the tables and explaining our vision to all the vendors. The Topiary Wall, floral decor and signage were my absolute favorite parts. Miss B Calligraphy did a great job with the wedding sign, seating chart and table numbers.”
The tropical theme was carried throughout, even to the food and beverage. “Our customized luau buffet menu was exactly what we envisioned. The flavors in the food were above and beyond any wedding food we’ve ever tasted. Also, thanks to Carl and crew for making our signature cocktail superb!”
