Our newest cooking class in the Sugar Beach Events “Cooking on Maui with Chef Lee” Tutorial Series!

Take your taste buds on a journey and let the fresh ingredients and pure regional flavors of Italy transport you during the upcoming cooking class with Chef Lee at Sugar Beach Events: Prosecco and Prosciutto.

Come experience an evening in the kitchen with Chef Lee of Sugar Beach Events Hawaii. Roll up your sleeves and expand your mind and recipe book alongside the chef, working in a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and learning some tricks of the trade from one of Maui’s best teaching chefs.

In three and a half hours you will learn how to prepare eggplant capanata, tomato bruschetta, cantaloupe caprese salad, fresh pasta with porcini mushroom sauce, sautéed spinach with raisins and pine nuts and shrimp with rosemary. Let’s not forget the bold, natural flavors that dominate the steak tradition of Italy, and you’ll learn to prepare two versions – Fiorentina (classic grilled porterhouse flavored with olive oil, lemon, and garlic) and Pizzaiola (seared strip steak garnished with tomato sauce). We will end the meal with traditional Tiramisu and wash it all down with Limencello, Bellinis and prosecco. Sugar Beach Events will provide all the kitchen equipment and supplies.

This is the third cooking class in the “Cooking on Maui with Chef Lee” series. This ongoing series offers a variety of special cooking classes, video tutorials & tips, recipes, and opportunities to learn professional tips to implement into your day-to-day experiences in the kitchen.

Must be 21 or older to attend.

Please note: you will be working in a commercial kitchen with knives, safety is our primary concern. Please also wear close-toed shoes.
