Our newest cooking class in the Sugar Beach Events “Cooking on Maui with Chef Lee” Tutorial Series!

A Mexican fiesta is twice as fun with tequila. This class is your chance to get the best of both! You will learn to mix Mexican cocktails, make authentic corn tortillas from scratch and lots more! Come experience an evening in the kitchen with Chef Lee of Sugar Beach Events Hawaii. Roll up your sleeves and expand your mind and recipe book alongside the chef, working in a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and learning some tricks of the trade from one of Maui’s best teaching chefs.

In three and a half hours you will create festive Mexican-inspired dishes that include Handmade Corn Tortillas, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole and Chips, Pineapple Rum Ceviche, Taco and Fajita bar, Marinated seared fresh catch, Flan, Tequila, Margaritas and Sangria. Resident mixologist, Carl Anderson, will be teaching about Tequila while demonstrating margarita-making practices. When the work is done, enjoy the dishes and relax with a cocktail to savor the efforts of the night. Sugar Beach Events will provide all the kitchen equipment and supplies.

This is the second cooking class in the “Cooking on Maui with Chef Lee” series. This new series will offer a variety of special cooking classes, video tutorials, recipes, and opportunities to learn professional tips to implement into your day-to-day experiences in the kitchen.

Must be 21 or older to attend.

Please note: you will be working in a commercial kitchen with knives, safety is our primary concern. Please also wear close-toed shoes.
