Wedding Planning Is Easier

One top reason to get married in Hawaii is it’s just easier (and a lot more exciting) than planning a traditional wedding at home. There are many aspects that go into planning the perfect wedding, and our wedding coordinators are here to take care of all the details, so you don’t have to stress or spend so much time and effort in putting it all together by yourself. Our event professionals know how to bring all the details together seamlessly for your special day. Hawaii Has Incredible Weather

Hawaii boasts sunshine and blue skies for the majority of the year, and that is what makes our island paradise so appealing to our couples. Hawaii does have a rainy season which goes from November to April. Drier months are from May to October. Sometimes, though, it does rain no matter what month it is. Maui is divided into a cooler/wetter side (facing North or East – such as Hana, Haiku, Paia) and a hotter/dryer side (facing South or West – such as Kihei, Wailea, Lahaina). Just know that if you will be getting married in the wetter side of the island, the chance of showers and cool temperatures are more likely, especially at night.

Our Maui venue is located in one of the most sunniest and driest parts of the island; however, sometimes it does rain here at Sugar Beach Events, too… mostly just a drizzle with incredible rainbows. They do say a little rain is a blessing on your wedding day. And, sometimes it’s nice to watch the rain as you sit dry and comfortable in our Grand Ballroom with the view of the ocean just steps away.

Maui Has Incredible Beaches

Yes, Maui has incredible beaches and our Sugar Beach goes on and on for miles all along the south shore. If an outdoor ceremony by the ocean’s edge and the gentle trade winds blowing through the palm trees is your dream, then look no further.

If you’re wanting a Maui beach wedding, but would prefer not having sand in between your toes, our private beachside lawn is the perfect spot for you to exchange your vows. The beach and ocean are literally in our backyard. We provide a private and intimate area away from the public area of the beach, where strangers may walk by.

Gorgeous Sunsets

People can’t help posting beautiful sunset photos from Maui on Instagram and if you’ve seen a Maui sunset, you understand why. Every night we experience such a stunning display of colors in the sky at sunset. At our location, the sun sets right into the ocean. Our couples usually take a stroll down the beach during sunset time to have a little alone time and also to have the wedding photographer snap away during one of the most romantic times of the day. Can you imagine your wedding photos with an incredible Maui sunset as the backdrop?
