“Kukahiko Estate is simply gorgeous, perfect for an intimate small wedding like ours on 9/15/18. The house itself is exceptional with ample space totally worth serving as a stand-in if it rains, and the back yard is just absolutely breathtaking. Exquisite landscaping spreads across a lush green lawn that runs right up to the smooth rocky edge meeting the ocean. The lava rock outcropping to the right is surprisingly wide and long, offering insanely romantic views or photos… that is a public area, but your photographer can shoot around any unexpected guests (ours happened to be the sweetest locals full of congrats just trying to stay out of our way while enjoying their land - honestly we couldn’t have been happier, either way). Yes, there’s a strictly law-enforced noise ordinance that require everyone, including all vendors with equipment, off the property by 10PM … but the neighbors are incredibly respectful while you’re visiting so you’ll want to return the favor, and 9:45PM won’t seem so early once you’re living on “island time” anyway. Personally, we will forever be grateful we were able to have both our ceremony and reception at Kukahiko and I wouldn’t hesitate to simple elope here in hindsight - If you’re looking for unparalleled beauty and memories in a venue, this place is the best!” - Cheryl Fields
